Structural Heart Disease

As the era of percutaneous intervention evolves from primarily coronary stent based therapies to percutaneous valves, clips, closure devices and a new era of more efficient and smaller percutaneous VADs, there comes a need to understand the basics of this new sub specialty of cardiology, coined Structural Heart Disease. It will incorporate advanced TEE techniques, advanced cardiac catheterization techniques. This page will continue to evolve as the specialty evolves and more information will arrive here as it is developed.
